This is the most unusual Costco I've ever been too! Not your typical Costco. Large warehouse type building where the parking is inside under roof. Right off I-80. I stop here everytime I go to Cedar Rapids. I always fill-up and is nice shopping when weather is bad.

Had to point out the meat section is is severely lacking to other location across the usa ive been to. Most the fish in the market was packaged 5 days or more prior and was starting to disintegrate in the packaging. Ground Turkey had fully pressurized from bacteria growth from mishandling and or hitting past sell by date. Never have experience this in any costco

You have 6 employees standing around making jokes, one employee watching the self checkouts which have a line and only two employees running the actual checkouts which also have lines. The customer service counter also has a line. This gaggle was going on for quit some time.

First time visiting Costco in the USA. For 15 years we have lived in Taiwan and held Costco membership. In fact when we first visited Taiwan, people would ask, "Do you like Costco?" They would say, "You know American Costco." We didn't know about Costco, but now we do and we love it.

Costco has a huge selection and we especially love the rotisserie chickens and the great floral selection/prices. Other prices are good but not everything is the best buy, especially if you have to buy a large quantity and it goes bad before you get it used up. I buy what works for our family. I'm sure it's a "let's keep you in here and buying more items" but trying to find what is in the ad can be maddening sometimes. The last time we couldn't find what we were looking for the employee couldn't either. Sometimes they move in during the ad (more than once.) Weekends are crazy so we try to go during the week. If not, we go when the executive members get in an hour ahead of the general public if we can. They aren't slow when it comes to checkout, it is just so many people shopping at once. We do love a good pizza deal for a huge $10 pizza. Sometimes an ice cream treat. The parking lot is a covered garage which is so nice for the winter and the rain. It does get a little crazy when it's busy so keep your eyes peeled for the drivers who aren't paying attention.
